UAE'S Al Futtaim Group eyes Morocco

Al Futtaim Capital is in the final stages of acquiring a 7 million sqm plot of land in Bouznika to develop a master-planned community encompassing a mix of residential, retail and leisure facilities. The project is located half way between the capital Rabat and Casablanca with a 5.5km frontage on the busiest highway of the country.

Orascom Development announces its project

Orascom inaugurated the marina town of Chbika, in the southern part of Morocco, on the Atlantic Ocean some 300 km from Agadir and covering a total area of 15 million sqm. The integrated and self-sufficient tourist destination will be developed by Oued Chbika Development, a subsidiary of Orascom Development in collaboration with CDG. Orascom Development will retain a majority stake of 65%. The 1st phase covers a total area of 5 million sqm, comprising 8 hotels and 1,851 apartments and villas. Amenities include a marina with 100 berths capacity, a golf course and a congress centre.

1,000 appartements en 4 jours à Paris

Belle moisson pour Addoha lors de la dernière édition du Salon de l’immobilier marocain, Smap Immo, qui s’est déroulé du 21 au 24 mai à Paris. Le groupe a vendu près de 1 000 appartements en l’espace de quatre jours. 300 ont fait l’objet de vente ferme et totalement payés tandis que 700 ont été réservés moyennant des avances de 30% et des compromis de vente. Selon des sources à Addoha, le stand du groupe lors de ce salon a comptabilisé quelque 5,000 visiteurs.
